See the APO in a multimedia show designed to wow primary school students with professional lighting, costume, graphics, dance, drama and a full symphony orchestra performing at full tiltperformance.

 

Individual instruments and sections of the orchestra play separately so students can see and hear their sound clearly, and a comprehensive pre-concert study pack enables schools to get the most out of the concert visit for their students.
The 2012 concert features “Music of for the Heart” – and supports NZ Heart Foundation health messages. The programme includes special favourites such as O Mio Babino Caro by Puccini, rhythmic music such as Gareth Farr’s From the Depths Sound the Great Sea Gongs, popular film music that all kids know, along with a special story about the great New Zealand icon the albatross.
