University of Auckland School of Music Open Rehearsals

Eckehard Stier is a passionate educator. As a result, he has invited University of Auckland School of Music students in performance, composition and conducting to observe any of his rehearsals in 2013. Students gain direct knowledge of orchestral technique and protocols and observe professional musicians as they prepare for a concert.

Students must enrol with the APO Education Manager at the start of the University year, by emailing leem@apo.co.nz from their University email address. They will then receive a schedule of all rehearsals available for the year, and need to RSVP before each one they would like to attend.
