Siemens Conductor Experience

A programme that creates confidence and grows leadership potential in talented school musicians.

Secondary students can apply to shadow APO Music Director Eckehard Stier for a week as he prepares for a concert. Students have conducting lessons, follow APO rehearsals to see how a concert is prepared, have lunch with APO musicians, learn more about the life of professional orchestral musicians, and meet APO staff to hear about their jobs.

Siemens staff host the students at the concert at the end of the week.

Applications for this free opportunity must be made the end of Term 1. Limited to 12 students.
