The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra gratefully ackowledges major funding from Auckland ratepayers, through the Auckland Regional Amenities Funding Board, and from Creative New Zealand. It also receives significant contributions from charitable trusts and foundations.

In addition, an organisation like the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra relies on the generosity and good will of all its patrons and stakeholders. From private donors to major corporate investors it is your support that continues to help maintain Auckland’s only professional orchestra.

Every donation and bequest, every volunteer and corporate sponsor is vital to the ongoing sustainability of your orchestra, and we place enormous value on it.

There are many ways in which philanthropists and individual donors of all kinds can support the APO – you can join our wonderful Chair Donor programme which gives you unique access to the musicians themselves through private rehearsals and other exciting events; or help contribute to the APO’s long term future by making a provision in your will; or simply donate to our Annual Appeal.  Click HERE to make a donation.

We are lucky enough to have a huge number of passionate members of the community that work hard as volunteers to raise valuable funds for the orchestra. You can help by joining the APO Friends – your membership gives you access to a huge range of superb activities.
