Ways to book tickets

 

FULL SERIES SUBSCRIPTION

Book all 12 concerts in The New Zealand Herald Premier Series and receive up to 25% discount off public ticket prices.
Book all three concerts in the  Bayleys Great Classics Series or Splendour Series and receive up to 15% discount off public ticket prices.
All full series subscribers receive a complimentary programme book and priority booking, and you are guaranteed your seats in the following year. If you were a full series subscriber in 2012 you  retain your chosen seats in 2013.

 

CHOOSE YOUR OWN SUBSCRIPTION

Choose the concerts you want to go to and make up your own subscription by booking a minimum of four tickets. You’ll save at least 10% off public ticket prices.
 

GIFT VOUCHERS

A perfect gift for someone who loves music or to introduce friends to the orchestra – or use them yourself. Save 10% off full ticket prices. Ideal if you can’t commit to dates, as they are redeemable right up to concert day. Book at least four vouchers and you and the lucky recipients receive further benefits as APO subscribers.
 

GROUP DISCOUNTS

Receive a 19% discount for your group of 8 or more. Book for 10 and the 11th ticket is free. Only available through the APO Ticketing office on (09) 623 1052.
 

PUBLIC TICKETS

Non-subscribers can buy tickets to any concert from The Edge box office, by visiting buytickets.co.nz or calling 0800 BUYTICKETS.  Prices are listed below. Public ticket sales open 21 January 2013.
 

 $30 FOR 30S AND $20 FOR 20S
If you’re in your 20s or 30s, pay no more than your decade for any APO concert. Subject to availability, tickets can be purchased from the Monday before each concert from the APO Ticketing team.

KEY DATES TO LOOK OUT FOR

  • Monday 1 October 2012 – subscriptions priority period begins

    Bookings within this period will be processed in the following order:

    1. renewing full New Zealand Herald Premier Series subscribers
    2. new full New Zealand Herald Premier Series subscribers
    3. Renewing full Bayleys Great Classics and/or Spelndour Series subscribers
    4. New full Bayleys Great Classics and/or Splendour Series subscribers
    5. Remaining subscriptions in date order
  • Fri 2 November 2012 – priority period ends. All bookings received from 3 November onwards will have seats allocatged in the order that they are received.
  • Fri 21 December 2012 – priority bookings will be in your letterbox by this date (Please phone APO ticketing on 09 623 1052 if your tickets have not arrived)
  • Fri 21 December 2012 – APO Ticketing office closes
  • Mon 7 January 2013 – APO Ticketing office reopens
  • Fri 18 January 2013 – Subscribers competition closes
  • Mon 21 January 2013 – 2013 Season open for public (single ticket) sale. 2011 SINGLE TICKET PRICES (correct at time of printing)
